Regional Claims Technician - Northampton
Salary £32,000 - £35,000
Our Client is an Insurance Company with offices throughout the UK. This is an opportunity to join the Claims department as a Regional Claims Technician at the Northampton office.
As the most senior Regional technical referral point for all technical work within the Department, the successful candidate will provide training and coaching for team members and have responsibility for managing the most complex claims cases coming into the Region.
Key Accountabilities
• Be the final referral and escalation point for staff within the Department
• Liaise with Head Office Claims on complex cases as appropriate
• Facilitate and implement technical claims training, coaching and mentoring of staff.
• Provide technical input and sign-off for referred complaints.
• Co-ordinate quality audits and influence quality control standards.
• Maintain and develop positive working relationships and provide technical support and assistance to Team Leaders and Operations colleagues.
Personal Specification
• Experience of handling complex claims
• Ability to demonstrate and apply a high level of technical knowledge.
• Experience of developing and maintaining key working relationships.
• Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to train, coach and develop staff.
• Proven negotiation and decision making skills
• Have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above including English Language and Mathematics. ACII qualified in accordance with the Qualifications Policy.
