Professional Indemnity Account Handler - Derby
Salary £22,000 - £28,000

Our Client is a fully independent, leading insurance broker specialising in bespoke insurance solutions for businesses, predominantly in the East Midlands area. Due to expansion, the office in Derby is looking for an additional member of staff to deal with Professional Indemnity Insurance.

The role of the Professional Indemnity Account Handler will be based in Derby and will be dealing with new business presentations to the Insurance Company market and Renewals of existing business. You will provide expert advice on insurance cover and negotiate terms and conditions of placement with underwriters, using your negotiating skills to obtain competitive premiums. Identifying appropriate channels for risk placement based on the client’s needs and requirements.

It is essential that Applicants have has previous dealings with Professional Indemnity Insurance wither from a broking or underwriting background. You will be confident and have the ability to work with internal and external customers and working to tight deadlines.
