Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Market Harborough

Our client is a well established Independent Insurance Broker who deals with General Commercial Insurance, Personal Lines and Financial Services and employ around 30 staff. They are looking to strengthen their team with a Commercial Insurance Account Handler.

The main duties will be to support 2 Account Executives with their commercial broking. You will be responsible for renewals, new business and mid term alterations, completing all relevant documentation in line with FSA guidelines. The role will include providing advice to clients, handling all internal administration and negotiating terms with Insurers.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked as a Commercial Broker or Commercial Account Handler and must have experience and knowledge of commercial insurance business and good negotiation and customer service skills. You will also have the ability to prioritise and organise a workload, work under pressure and to deadlines. Applicants from a Broking or Underwriting background will be considered. The role will be based in Market Harborough which is between Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
