Commercial Insurance Handler - Derby
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
Our client is a well established Insurance Broker and is looking for an additional staff member in the role of Commercial Insurance Handler.
You will be working with other staff members and report to the Team Leader. Duties include dealing with commercial insurance business. You will handle renewals, new business and mid -term alterations, completing all relevant documentation in line with FSA guidelines. The role will include handling all the internal administration on behalf of the external Account Executive and provide advice to clients, negotiating new business and renewal terms with Insurers.
The ideal candidate will need experience and knowledge of commercial insurance business to include Property and Liability and good negotiation and customer service skills. You will also have the ability to prioritise and organise a workload, work under pressure and to deadlines. Applicants who have previously worked as a Commercial Account Handler or Commercial Underwriter will be considered. You will be based in Derby, Derbyshire.
