Commercial Account Handler - Derby
Salary £15,000 - £22,000

Our client is a successful and growing Insurance Broker based in Derby. Due to expansion they are looking for an additional member of staff to join their commercial insurance team as a Commercial Account Handler.

Working with more senior members of the Broking Team, you will assist the Commercial Brokers and Commercial Account Handlers in their duties, including dealing with renewals, new business and mid -term alterations, completing all relevant documentation in line with FSA guidelines. The role will include handling all the internal administration for commercial package policies and providing advice to clients, negotiating new business and renewal terms with Insurers.

The ideal candidate will need a basic understanding of commercial insurance business to include Commercial Property and Liability and good negotiation and customer service skills. You will also have the ability to prioritise and organise a workload, work under pressure and to deadlines. Applicants who have previous experience in a Commercial Underwriting role will be considered. You will be based in Derbyshire office.
