Underwriting and Operations Manager - Stevenage

As a result of business expansion and internal promotion this market leading insurance organisation are looking for an additional member of staff as an Underwriting and Operations Manager to head up the Commercial Insurance Underwriting functions and Operational Management. Working closely with the Managing Director you will sit on the Board to deliver and exceed strategy for the business.

The successful candidate will be one of the key decision makers and have overall responsibility for areas of the business such as Commercial Insurance Underwriting , IT, Claims, Compliance, Technical support, Service Delivery, Product Development and Business Services.

The ideal applicant will have experience of working as a Commercial Underwriter and have a thorough understanding of Commercial Underwriting principals to include Material Damage and Liability and be able to effectively manage and monitor team performance and ideally have previous Operational Management experience. You will be working in the Stevenage office in Hertfordshire.
