Business Development Executive - Derby
Salary £30,000 - £35,000

Our Client is a fully independent, leading insurance broker specialising in bespoke insurance solutions for businesses, predominantly in the East Midlands area. Due to expansion, the office in Derby is looking for an additional member of staff as a Business Development Executive to deal with New Business and the ongoing Servicing of the account.

The role of the Business Development Executive will be based in Derby covering clients in the Derbyshire and East Midlands area. You will visit clients at their premises to discuss their insurance requirements. You will provide expert advice on insurance cover, identifying appropriate channels for risk placement based on the client’s needs and requirements. You will work closely with the internal Account Handlers and Brokers to negotiate terms and conditions of placement with underwriters.

It is essential that Applicants have worked in a Client facing role and have a comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Insurance business to include Property and Liability preferably from a Broking background. You will be confident and have the ability to work with internal and external customers and working to tight deadlines.
