Account Executive/Business Partner - East Midlands
Salary £27,000 - £35,000 plus bonus and benefits package

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to take over and run an established Insurance Brokerage.

Our Client is a well established Provincial Insurance Broker based in the East Midlands and is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their team with the view to taking over the running of the business in the next 3 – 5 years and the option of a Management Buy Out or Directorship/Share Owning.

The successful Applicant will be responsible for building up their own book of business in year 1 and 2 in order to demonstrate their business acumen and ability to develop business. You will visit clients at their premises to give guidance and advice on their insurance requirements, keeping within professional standards. You will establish client’s needs and design appropriate solutions, maintain effective credit control procedures and work closely with internal Account Handlers. In years 3 – 5 steps will be made to look at how the business is taken forward due to the existing Directors retiring and exiting the business.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience working within Commercial Insurance in a client facing role within a Broking environment. You will have excellent relationship management and communication skills. Progress with insurance industry qualifications would be preferred.
